Hello world!

My name is Mae. I knit. I have been knitting for 25 years.

I also spin. I have been spinning for 5 years.

I also talk about knitting and spinning and fiber preparation and wool and sheep and sometimes even dyeing.

I'm a tad obsessed.

And I don't have nearly enough friends who are willing to listen to me talk about my obsessions to the extent that I want to talk about them.

So, I started a crafting blog. That way, I can write about fiber to my heart's content, and pretend that people are reading what I say.

The content will not be all about current projects: I'm not nearly productive enough that it would fill a blog. I will sometimes write about past projects, items from my stash and my toolbox, methods I like, and maybe even some vintage patterns.

I hope that people will find it interesting and informative. If they don't, well, friends and relatives will be relieved of some of the burdens of listening to me.
